About Jakob

Jakob travels the globe filming and taking photographs of not just beautiful scenery but also of some of the worlds leading ski and snowboard professionals.

Growing up in the beautiful countryside of the Southern Highlands, NSW and the Snowy Mountains, Jakob was surrounded by nature and landscapes that were and continue to be inspiration for a lot of his work. He has been known to set up a camera within a field for days on end just waiting for the right moment when a Stallion meets his Mare, to capture the moment of play, flirtation and love amongst some of Australia’s most iconic backdrops. It is this patience and dedication that has allowed Jakob to capture images that are nothing short of pure magic.

When Jakob is not filming iconic athletes pushing their limits in the worlds most breathtaking mountains, he is capturing nature at its most extreme, from jagged peaks to running waterfalls he is now bringing these beautiful imagery to your space whether it be a print for your home, your office or a gift to a loved one you are sure to be mesmerised by the wonderful world of Phoot Prints.
